Historically climbers learned movement and technique by one of several methods. They learned by trial and error, which left much to be desired. Climbing movement is not all intuitive. They learned by watching and “apprenticing” to more experiencing climbers, but this was also less than optimal. How had their mentors learned? There were no guarantees that those more experienced climbers were climbing effectively and efficiently.

Fastrack eliminates these uncertainties. Designed and implemented by Dan Hague, one of our founders and the co-author of climbing’s definitive movement and technique text—and based on theories of kinesiology—Fastrack will teach you the right way to do things right off the bat. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for the reasons why you can’t break through your barriers, this series of classes is for you.

FASTRACK 1: Beginners Technique and Movement 

Prerequisites: None

Pricing/Schedule: $40/members, $80/non-members

-2 Hour Class (once per week)

-Runs for 3 weeks

-Offered Every Month

Covers:

-Basic Climbing Concepts and Vocabulary, Hold Names and How to Use them Properly, Wall Contact, Body Movement and Awareness, Sequencing, Turning


 

FASTRACK 2: Intermediate/Advanced Technique and Movement

Prerequisites: 6 Months Climbing Experience/FT 1/Should be able to comfortably Boulder V1

Pricing/Schedule: $60/members, $120/non-members

-2 Hour  Class (once per week)

-Runs for 3 weeks

-Offered Every Other Month

Covers:

-Flagging, Advanced Maneuvers, Dynamic Movement, COG-BOS Relationship, Advanced Sequencing, and will recap topics taught in FT 1


 

FASTRACK 3: Route Fitness

Prerequisites: None

Pricing/Schedule: $30/members, $60/non-members

-1.5 Hour Class (once per week)

-Runs for 4 weeks

-Offered Every Month

Covers:

-Fitness Specific Workouts for Routes, Overview of How Energy is Used by the Human Body while Climbing, Designing a Fitness Plan, Sticking to a Fitness Plan


FASTRACK 4: Bouldering Fitness

Prerequisites: None

Pricing/Schedule: $30/members, $60/non-members

-1.5 Hour Class (once per week)

-Runs for 4 weeks

-Offered Every Month

Covers:

-Fitness Specific Workouts for Bouldering, Overview of How Energy is Used by the Human Body while Climbing, Designing a Fitness Plan, Sticking to a Fitness Plan


FASTRACK 5: Indoor Sport Leading

Prerequisites: Must be able to comfortably climb 5.9 in the gym on TR

Pricing/Schedule: $60/members, $120/non-members

-2 Hour Class (once per week)

-Runs for 3 Weeks

-Offered Every Month

Covers: Clipping Anchors Properly, Minimizing the Risks Associated with Lead Falls


FASTRACK 6 : Personal Training

Prerequisites: None

Pricing/Schedule: 1x/Week or 2x/Week Option (2 hour blocks)

-1x/Week = $200/month

-2x/Week =$400/month

-Requires a Rise Up Month-Month Membership

Covers: Personalized Curriculum, 1 on 1 Instruction
